Surveillance Cameras

I feel that surveillance cameras should not be put up only because they don’t take good pictures unless it’s a license plate and its doing nothing but keeping tabs on everybody in the world so the government can keep control and u have no privacy unless u at home.

EX:

No, video surveillance cameras in public places is not a good idea because they would invade people's privacy at every turn and it would make going out in public feel like being in a bank.

The benefits do not outweigh the draw backs when it comes to public surveillance. We would only have the word of some governmental official that they would not abuse the system, and it would only be good as the quality of the cameras installed. If they were grainy black and white cameras like found in most gas stations they would fail to be of any use any ways. Those always take such blurry pictures that even the police cannot identify a criminal after the fact. Public cameras would stop almost no real crimes, all they would do is give the government a way to keep an eye on you all the time and know every single thing you do outside of your home. - H_Baird

I don't think that video surveillance cameras in public places are a good idea because it is an infringement on your civil liberties. Why film innocent people doing nothing criminal in public places. Next, they'll be putting them in public restrooms. - MycCra2ii

Is Ignorance Bliss

I think that in some cases ignorance is bliss. There are some things some people should not know about and then there are some things you should tell people it all depends on the situation. Say for instance you seen one of the guy’s girl up on another dude not in no friendly type way, you should let him know about it cause keeping it from might cause problems between the two of y’all. Now in the case were there are things that people shouldn’t know like say you  been telling your friend that the person they talking to is not who they think they is and they just don’t want to listen, well this is where ignorance is bliss and you are able to just keep your mouth close without no consequences. 

Dro's Favorite Movies

 I don’t really have a favorite movie so I am going to choose 2 and enlighten you about these movies. One of my favorite movies is Cooley High. Cooley High is a classic movie about friendship, relationship, and other real life problems filmed in 1975. When I first saw this movie I knew that it would be a movie that should be watched any time you see that it’s on. It’s a movie that will make you laugh, sad, and take you to a place of remembrance. The movie main 2 characters are Leroy "Preach" Jackson and Richard "Cochise" Morris. This is a movie that if you haven’t seen you need to see it you won’t be disappointed and you will be able to see old Chicago in all its glory.

If you like killing, gun play, weed, and just straight gangsta stuff this is the movie you want to watch....Shottas. When I first saw this movie it was over had to put this on the must watch every time list. The film tells the story of two young men, Biggs (Errol) (Kymani Marley) and Wayne (Spragga Benz). this a movie that you 'wanna miss nothing. Its full of nothing but real nigga stuff, a movie that won't have you mad you watched it at the end. Really the movie title speaks for itself don’t really need to say much but go see the movie if you never seen it.

What I Think About Facebook

Facebook is a site to keep in touch with people you have moved away from, people you have just got back in touch or your family that stay in different parts of the world. Facebook is not all that good though, because some people pages have got hacked or people have had bogus pages made just from someone copying their pictures. I don’t think that facebook should be held against someone for a job cause that’s their personal life outside of work and as long as facebook don’t interfere with work then it shouldn’t be a factor from the start. Facebook now allows you to video chat with your friends that have a webcam but most people have oovoo or skype so I don’t know if that makes it better or not. Facebook has games you can play but you must allow access to your email address not so good idea. I know some people that done had their page hacked they had bogus comments put up about them or they message people with bogus messages or put those stupid links on people’s statuses. One person I know had a phony page made where the person took that persons pictures and talked about them but since it was a phony page mad up it look like that person was talking about themselves. I really don’t be on facebook like that so I could really care less about it cause twiter bout to overtake it anyway as much as people be on the website. So that’s what I think about facebook. 

Why I attended the WU

The reason I attended the WU was to stay out of trouble and to further my education. I mean if the WU didn't offer the scholarship i wouldn't know nothing about the school. I didn't learn about the school until my principle came to me talking about the scholarship. I would've had ended up going to SIU or NIU because those the schools i knew and heard of. Now that I'm at the school its cool but I it's not all that i thought it would be, but aye I'm here and I'm a try and make the best of it. So that's the reason i attended the WU nothing more nothing less.
